Well here is something different from me other than brookies.I hooked the pontoon up and headed a hour north from my house with my wife to the Large Lake called Onaping Lake we camped right on the pontoon for a couple days and enjoyed the stars and sunsets sleeping on the boat.
This lake gets pretty remote not many camps after you go up 18 miles and we were camping and fishing around the 30 mile mark.
This lake is 40 miles long and is among the pines and many islands and rock obstacles in the water I suggest that if anyone ventures up this lake take it easy i have heard of many boats losing their lower end from hitting rocks they can be in the middle of the lake most are marked up to the 18 mile narrows after that you are on your own, and in some bays it is a real hazard.
We have had our close calls over the years travelling it.
The fishing was good with lots of walleye in the 17 inch range for dinner.
