I am fortunate enough to be starting a new job in a couple of weeks, one that will allow me to have evenings and weekends and holiday free....to try and space out all of the above...to make life a bit easier.
Forgot to say congratulations on the new career move. A new adventure awaits, with hopefully some extra time to fish. And speaking of fishing, if anyone is going out there. Here is the forecast from now until over night Sunday. The fishing will be great again this weekend. Bring some rain gear because it might be wet at some point. Watch the wind, the fishing will really pick up in the Kawarthas tomorrow afternoon and into the weekend. The walleye and crappie will be even more aggressive than all of last week. Use your favourite baits that have worked well in the past. No need to waste time on new ideas, the fish will be hungry again.

Well, Jamie, I am in Port Elgin all week on business but hopefully at the end of the day I might get some quiet water and get a couple of hours fishing in. I did bring the kayak with me. If I catch anything, I will post a report.

Don't work too hard. Good luck if you get on the water.

well going out with my boys on the river tomorrow, not expecting much if anything, but I don't get to fish with them very often. The jam is coming along, juiced 7.5lb of grapes today, stopped at 12cups of juice. Will make jam on Monday when youngest boy leaves for work.

Thank you for your kind words. I am looking forward to this new chapter in life.
Extra time to fish....that would be nice, but unlikely.
I will likely limit myself to Saturday's, depending on the weather really.
It will be fun to figure out what works each time I go out...which will likely mean taking a lot more tackle and gear than I am used to...but that's why I love fishing.
