Yesterday Saturday November 9 on a lake up north, -3°C at the access point early in the morning, but rose to close to 10°C around noon and in the afternoon. Felt quite warm due to no wind, and sunny having lots of sunlight, plus having wore all too many layers of cloths:-)

Very nice. I really should have tried for some crappie as well but it's hard to get that much time to go fishing. I am lucky I can get to the lake within about 2 min. drive now so I can be on the lake so quickly and can get back very quickly if I had to. I am still trying to find an even closer spot to fish (right now, I have to pedal about 20-30min. before I get to my new WF spot). The spot that we fished at earlier in the year is 10 min. drive and about a 10-15 min. pedal...yes, I am spoiled . But it's the only reason I have been able to fish.

I’ve still have never gotten into a good pile of crappie. I know some places I just never seem to target them or luck into them.
Try it and you might like it:-)
PS: I am still looking for a few more times kayak fishing before I call it a season is over, and get ready for ice fishn'. Perhaps would try to fish for herring...
