It made my day to see my original thread again. I have been busy with work, family and hunting and forgot to hang on my favorite forum. Hope y'all had a great summer and fall, and hope to see ya on the ice....if it ever freezes. I had alot of fun hunting this year and here is a buck we got right behind my parents place, he isnt a monster, but he was an awesome 5 year old mature whitetail. In my area, that is becoming an endangered species. Hope to see more hunting pics from y'all!!!!

Opening Day last year headed out in the am got up into the stand and saw a dandy

5x5 and 4x5 playing in the swamp after sitting there from 530am to 12:00 . maybe
watched these deer for over 20 minutes playing around and cruising threw the swamp, about 80 yards away !

Got down out of the stand around 1230 meet up with the old man quickly for lunch and was back in for 2:00pm !

As i was making my way to the stand i noticed a buck that i have never seen on the property before or had on camera. i watched him for about half hour threw the binocs about 100 yards away .

I was slowly making my way to him threw the swamp where the 10 and 9 point where playing in it that mourning . i was now only about 60 yards away from him . i clipped into my Bowtech getting ready to pull back and shoot. As i tried to get up and move closer i dropped my arrow out of my rest. He put his head up off the corn field and was now making his way towards me very curiously and fast to see what the sound was.

I reached back down very fast and quite to put my last arrow in ! I locked in pulled back and drilled him at 43 yards .

* One of my most remember-able and best spot and stocks alone on a white tail deer , and yes i will have to say i was very lucky to have a second chance at him with a compound bow shooting of the ground !

Using: Bowtech Bow, Pro Hunter Goldtip arrows camo wrapped, 100 Grain Slick trick broad heads, swear by them. Most accurate Broad head ! Every Deer i harvested with them run less than 20 yards. And also the price of them are affordable !

Thanks,

Dan

This one I will be looking for that just might win big buck contest next year. this is suppose to be a 10 second clip but don't think it is working on here. Try doubble clicking on it. Go ahead and look through the rest of my pictures if you like. I put them in here so as I can paste into hound and coyote site I am on.
