Its Official Global Warming

Third winter in a row with no ice fishing for me. Another year that lake Simcoe does not freeze up. Plus temps for the next 2 weeks. Didnt even start and its done and done. Global warming is here and ice fishing looks to be a thing of the past. At least around here!

Blah blah global warming, it's a cyclical occurrence at one point the earth was much warmer and then receeds into the ice ages.

And, i am no deep down the tunnel hole, but something to be said about every day just being grey skies here, never in my 45 years have i not seen the sun so little.

Call it what you will, but theres something to be said about chem trails imo.

Let's hope it get's colder,

currently they are prediciting a cold and rainy summer, so who knows maybe the best and only ice comes in Feb,

I feel terrible for all the operators who depend on this business to feed there family,

Just imagine how many more whitefish and perch there’ll be for open water season!

It's just a cycle what do you think happens to the temperatures when we come out of an ice age. It's not the first time and certainly isn't the last time. Since when are we breaking records from? Oh yeah from an ice age 1816 was the year summer that never came global temperatures plummeted around the globe.


Also where is sun cycle again near the peak more flares equal more heat . Climate change has been happening since the beginning of time. Many things have both gone extinct from both the cold and the heat several times.

As for the fishing I was out on 21st perching on the 22nd I checked another Perch location then decided to check out whittie waters. Caught a 36 inch trout . On the 23rd checked out another area and slammed the whitties. Back at the perch a few more times no perch just more Whitties.

Even checked out some ice yesterday

People been ice fishing simcoe for 2 weeks. Now.

Global warming or not, that is the question.

Well, here's my two cents on the subject. Yes the earth goes in cycles, there's no denying that. But earth's climate has never been changed by human activity until now. It's a know fact that we humans ARE affecting the climate on earth in negative ways. This will probably not destroy the earth and it will eventually recover, but the point is we and many generations after us will suffer from it. When we talk about climate change and its ills that's what we mean. So denying it is happening does not really help us.
