By the way on the lake on Saturday, I was looking for lake herring/cisco but instead landed some bass and laker!:-)

The herring on that lake are VERY big up to 4lbs, but they are harder to find than some other lakes. There are also whitefish there but also tougher to find as it’s a big lake. I’m surprised you didn’t find a walleye on that first lake. Looks like great fishing up near Huntsville though.

Right. The first lake I fished there are walleye and herring, etc. But I didn't find any. And instead landed two laker early in the morning. And then around noon before I called it a day, I fished a bit close to/along shorelines, and found some large and small mouth bass:-)

Wow nice mixed bag of fish, James..

Well done, looks like a fun time.

Put in the time and get results.

Thanks for the report and fish porn.

Cheers!

Thanks everyone. Went back to the lake in Muskoka this past Wednesday (two days ago), and landed another 3, and even met board member Flukes (John) and his family sunbathing/swimming at the launch:-)

Very nice James, you’re reminding me it’s time to re-stock on whitefish!
