Our group of 9 fished Thursday to Saturday with promise land camp. 3rd year with this outfitter and no complaints yet. Headed out at 6am to the huts. Fishing just out side of hunters bay Thursday morning.
Phil from PLC is awesome, he couldn't get us out to the usual fishing grounds but put us on the fish in a new spot. Started fishing around 7 and 5 min in first fish small eye around 12".
Couple min later the other hut got another small guy and then a nice keeper. It was on and off the rest of the trip.
Thursday we went 8/12 the bite was very light and the newbies lost alot of fish. Friday only a few guy got out in the am and it was on finished the day with 4 keepers and lost a big fish probably a pike.
Saturday was very slow. Got a lot of snow over night, maybe that had to do with it. Evening got better and had a few keepers.
Over all fishing was great. Probably landed around 30-40 Walley over the 3 days. 2 perch and a pike. lost a lot of fish but the bite was very light.

Slip bober with a hook, split shot and shiner
And a small white and orange jig head with a shiner worked best
