Great bassin’ there. Nice largies and smallies. I haven’t seen a rock bass in 3 years.

Ty.

both rock bass and largemouth were introduced into the lake some 30 years ago and they have thrived whereas the perch are on the decline

the rock bass are great when we get young ones up there and take them fishing with a float and tube......easily get a bite or fish every cast

I’ve caught the largest Rock bass this year than ever. I tend to throw them back and eat small/large mouths only…. But that’s just me… probably 15 years since the last Rock bass I ate…

LS good to hear you made it to the cottage and had some great fishing. I personally will eat a RB way before before the SM and LM, of the 3 I will only keep the RB, trouble is getting them big enough,

Why did the Ministry release rock bass in many lakes?

Thanks for all the comments guys

Disco........I put that pic up just for you

And for myself I will take rock bass over any other bass anytime and my pet gets the leftovers
