Did our annual trip, 5 guys/4 boats and I dragged my canoe along. Portaged into a back lake for a brookie trip on day 1, had to work hard for 5 small
yearling stockers from this year, couldn’t find any of the three year olds

Couldn’t get my 5 to come home with, they were not all that cooperative, but had a good time up on the hill paddling a tiny lake to myself for the afternoon.

All in all a great trip, stellar weather and enough catching for a big fish fry at the campsite and a few to take home. Busiest I’ve ever seen the lake. Boats everywhere. I think the nice weather brought everyone out for a last kick at the can this season.

Nice fish, the measurements on the paddle is such a good idea.
