that is a big fallfish for sure


that size laker is close to my favourite eater size

Thanks! Yeah I like them that size but the slot size in the lake means all fish below 65cm must be released, and measuring inside tail not tip of tail. It’s a quest every year because you want one over 65 but not too much over. I have achieved this twice, one I kept one I released. Nice meat on them too from this lake.

Those are some huge fallfish - Something I found online - I looked this up in the past out of curiosity …

“Three records have been added to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) Ontario Record Fish Registry.…

(Blah blah blah)……..

The third record was a fallfish, caught by Tony Baldassarra of Kingston. That fish was taken in the St. Lawrence River near Ivey Lea on April 21, 2012. The 18.5 inch fallfish weighed 3.16 pounds and had a girth of 13 inches.”

Nice bucket of fish!!! Regarding those fall fish we were catching those fly fishing the other day. They do put up a fight too!
