Not sure where you're going to be staying - but I would hit the shoals - start off shallow, and work my way deeper as the day progresses. They will be shallow in September, and you can probably sight fish them, if it's calm. Watch for the bare sandy patches between the weeds, and cast out into those areas. Those nice shoals, with access deep deeper water should hold them and bait.

Probably stay in Orillia. Thanks for the locations to start. Just a 3 brother trip for fun and laughs.

In that case the ice machine was a pretty good answer.

And just stay away from that little casino...they just take your money and you have nothing left to shop for tackle at trombleys...LOL

Thanks for the info.

We don't need an ice machine. None of us drink. Been there done that. Our fun is in the boat and we have a lot of laughs every few years. We're all in our 70's.

Again the info is very much appreciated.

Since you are staying in Orillia, you could also take the boat up into Lake Couchiching. Good Largemouth fishing in there and also Smallmouth Bass off the rock shoals as mentioned. Good Luck!

I would be fishing cranks abd tubes during the day on and off structure points

early morning and evening........topwater for sure both shallow and deep water

since you got 3 guys different baits during the day will help you determine what they may want

flog the water, try different spots and presentations and go have fun

From Orilla, you can go Strawberry Island, and a couple of small islands and rocks nearby.
It's a good spot now.
Try jerkbait and crankbait.
