you dont have to hike that far...early ice in pb i fish 15ft..follow every1 out 30mins if you want though

Fishingfool....Rain for a day or two then with the cold snap right after it will be good for the ice, melting the snow cover and then it freezing. It will be especially good for Cook's Bay which had ice blown in there all broken up from our past really windy days. There is 12 inches of white pack ice there which is nowhere near as strong as the Blue Hard Ice like there is here in PB.....5 inches of hard ice. FISH SAFE FOR YOUR FAMILIES ESPECIALLY NOW BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!! Bob
