Fished that lake only once 2 years ago, same as you just caught a few hammer handle pike and that's it. No bass or walleye. Gets lots of pressure for such a small lake.

I never caught a largemouth in the nottawasaga river system, so the lake probably doesn't have any. If there was a population of largemouth bass they were probably fished out years ago. Pike like current and can travel up and down the nottawasaga and probably move in and out of Jack Lake.

No, never fished there before. Didn't even know it existed. Have you fished there? Is the fishing any good?

Is there public access to Jack Lake or the lower Notty. Not from the area but would like to try fall salmon or it just easier / better to fish from the banks. If so do you usually fish in Wasaga Park or is there access else where.
Thanks

There is a boat launch at Wasage Beach Provincial Park, this takes you out to the mouth of the Nottawasaga River for steelhead and salmon fishing. Not sure how much it costs to launch.
