I have been approached by the Nottawasaga Steelheaders as well as other environmental groups in the area who are opposed to this mega quarry. It is feared that this quarry will affect the headwaters of quite a few of the major river systems in the area, including the Nottawasaga, Saugeen and Grand River systems.
