Had another good day out there today at a spot I found. Will probably only go there from now on as it has produced every time I have gone and will defiantly be there in the summer on my boat. I have been targeting Whities this year and have had some success. Even hooked into a monster Laker yesterday but trying to get his head through a 28 inch hole while head shaking was tough and he finally knocked the jig out after banging the bottom of the hole for like 5 mins….lol.

Anyway, I think thats it for me this year. Was better than last year and I'm already looking forward to next year. Having the Skidoo now has made a world of difference and to get out there its a definate requirement. I struggled with the ATV versus Skidoo and after seeing the ATV's struggle at times I'm glad I went for the sled.

Now looking forward to pulling some spoons through the water!!

Cheers and good luck in the last couple of days!

Also wanted to add that lake access via sled is tough now at the end of BBP due to the size of that pressure ridge….its doable but tough thats for sure and I noticed lots of cracks near the shoreline as well….won't be long now with the high sun and warmer daytime temps.

Be safe!
