Not sure where you get your wind forecast from?

When I check Environment Canada, The Weather Network, Accu-Weather and Sailflow all the forecasts are for much higher winds than what you suggest?

I think the one he reports is in Alcona. His ice reports are based on his morning dog walks. If I'm wrong, I'm sure he'll correct me.

Hey guys,

As of this minute winds are 5MPH and peaks & 14MPH.
Wind direction is west SW.

All this information is from my personal weather station. On shoreline.

Ice report is from dog walk. Lol

My question was not criticism. I just wanted to know why there was a difference compared to the sources I was looking at.
