Not sure about the Georgian Bay Tribs, but the Lake Ontario tribs already have salmon in them, I personally counted 10 silver chinooks last week in a Lake Ontario tributary about 3 km upstream of the mouth. With the weekend rain and these cold nights, the first major salmon run should occur in the next few days.

doesnt look like much has happened but i believe one small run has came up.. there were some fish in the garbage can at the fishing park in angus and some people fishing upstream of the bridge. i saw one fish rise and break the surface at the first bridge south of angus on line 5 and that was it... didnt not appear to be anything at murphy road, sideroad 5 or the nicholston dam. I did talk to one person though who said that a buddy from work told him that a couple days ago there were some fish jumping at the bridge in angus.
Correct me if im wrong but i think that well probably start to see some bigger runs with the next big rain we get.
