Beautiful weather, light winds and bugs not too bad (well maybe worse at dusk). Tried minnows, worms and leeches all with the same degree of good success. Between the 2 of us boated approx. 40 or so walleye including a rare blue - at least a first for me. Largest of the bunch stretched out to 17.75 inches 'OUCH.' With that, fish dinner consisted of perch - tasty nonetheless. Small and Largemouth also providing entertainment. Very enjoyable weekend Taking it that in 2 or so years the bulk of pickereye population will then be 18.1"?

Sounds like a great time!! Agreed most of those juveniles will be all grown up in 2 years but I have a strong feeling the regs will be changed back to a slot similar or the same that we just had to now protect the now mature breeding walleye
