Waubaushene is near Hawkestone??
There's a launch ramp at the bottom end of the 9th of Oro Medonte ($20 for the day) and one in Carthew Bay (Lakeshore Road) off the 14th or Oro.

I think you need a resident parking pass to park at Carthew Bay. Friend of mine from work got a $60 ticket last week while parking there for ten minutes.
He was out for a quick test run in his tinny.
He lives in Oro but the pass was in his wife's car and he figured a quick run and back would be OK.

Yes you do need a residents pass . If not you have to purchase a day pass . $20

He can easily fight the ticket and get off especially if he lives in the township . Wouldn't surprise me if they won't let him off . Lived there for 9 years...Had lots of issues with the township . Money hungry pricks .

He went straight to the municipal office and spoke to the guy who issued the ticket. Explained that he forgot to put pass in his car and the ticket guy ripped up the ticket. Made it sound like he was doing my buddy a big favour.
At least he didn't have to pay.
