North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has been notified by a concerned mariner of a Marine Marker that has become adrift on Lake Nipissing.

The buoy is in the area off shore from Chapmans Landing Road in Nipissing Twp. The buoy is described as a Green Marker # E – A1 and its condition has been reported to the Canadian Coast Guard and the Chief Commanda.

Local mariners are being advised that this location could be hazardous and they are to exercise caution when navigating in this area.
