Out on Cooks Bay today, real cold and windy, water temp 58 deg. Got about 4 pike and buddy got an 18in largie.

Are you sure water temps are still only 58??? That seems fairly cool for this time of the year....

I fished cooks that day as well the west side was only 61 in the afternoon. Thats because of the rain and the outflows into that side of the lakes a numerous.

Yeah, my anchor rope is still coming up pretty cold form Kemp Bay too....

It is always colder of course, but noticeably more so this year...
