hey everyone my wife and will be hitting lake simcoe this weds and will be trying various spots. our plan is 5 days and 5 different kinds of fish. we do ice fish the lake but with hut operators. so they take us out and put us hopefully on the fish. rest is up to us to catch the fish lol. i do have riggers and dipsy divers set ups along with plain ole trolling set ups. i know lake ont spoons are the greasy chicken, watermelon, chicken wing , silver /blue, clown and orange easter egg. what do i use out here on lake simcoe. i saw banana baits topics. love nail some lakers, ciscoe, pike, bass, and whatever else i can coax to hit my hook. i did see a topic on black heads and ciscoe swammers. are you trolling these or are you dropping anchor and jigging. thanks in advance for any and all help.
ok i keep forgetting about the ciscoe reg and its the white fish are open. thanks for the heads up. dont need to getting boarded by the mnr for not reading the exception part of the reg. i see also the muskie is closed all year too. again thanks for the heads up and this message board.
