It was a grand slam weekend of good times..



For the fishing buffs, fishing on Saturday was slow, high winds made it difficult to get good drifts and boat position and John caught the only fish of the day, a hammerhandle pike. I skunked. Sunday morning I noticed it was calm out so I headed out, but within 30 minutes the rain started, the fish were active so I just did it -- fished in the rain.. John was watching from the window and I knew he was shaking his head.. LOL.. Anyway the wind started up and thunder and that's all she wrote... Managed a dozen fish, bass, pike & perch mix before the weather really turned. Kept 2 since they were fatally hooked and released everything else.
