Was up at the cottage on Kashagawigamog on saturday for the day and night. It was a wet one. Didn't get in as much fishing as we wanted to but it was still good to be there as always.
The water temp has dropped significantly in the past week and the action had cooled down a lot.
After 7 hours total time out in the boat and only a perch to show for it we decided to pack her in and try again next weekend. The weeds were still high and thick so I'm thinking this coming weekend should be a bit better fishing, might have to try fishing a bit deeper.

The big fish of the day was caught off the dock about 30 minutes after we got there. A nice 4.1lb smallmouth.

After this weekend I'll post a report on the lake conditions.

gorgeous bass. makes up for the near-skunk on the boat.
