I recommend trying a creek on one of the kawarthas, maybe scugog. Bullheads like warm, calm water and creeks are warmer and calmer, fish near the mouth of the creek. Good luck, bullheads are easy to catch if you can find them, i've caught a few on scugog.

Scugog is also really muddy so there should be a decent amount

If in southwestern Ontario Wildwood Cons. Area off the causeway on Oxford Line 29.
Can't keep them off your line in the spring with a worm on bottom.

Notice I said "If in southwestern Ontario".
It's about 375 km southwest of Brockville near St. Marys, Ontario.

Had good success on Buckhorn Lake, and Lovesick Lake. 6' and mud bottom. In the spring, but don't generally fish for them. Check MNR website, or ask a C.O. for lakes close by. And for God`s sake, don`t use dynamite if you fish from a glass bottom boat. LOL
