On Friday, I fished out from the mouth of the Nottawasaga in 8 to 30 fow.
Only boat out there.
Used spoons/plugs, flat lined/downrigged--didn't make any difference--nothing.
It was dead calm, so I even anchored just out from the mouth in 7fow and threw out a spawn sack-still nothing. Trolled in the river--nothing.
Saw a few small fish caught from shore on spawn sacks.
Oh well, maybe next week.

Sorry to hear the bows are MIA for you Ralph. Hopefully they will start to show up in the bay in better numbers soon...

Saturday went out with a co-worker, dressed extra warm its getting cold out there .

We went 2 for 5... Cold hands and being lazy resulted in loosing some decent fish out there and I lost my lucky spoon on a fish. We had hits from 10 to 40 feet of water down various depths.

Sunday went out with my regular fishing partner. Re-tied all the leads though the night before. Went 3 for 3. All 3 hits came running 2 colours of leadcore behind a planer board on my "new" (lol) lucky spoon over 30 feet of water.

Good luck out there this week gents.

I'm done for the season deer hunting next week..

Out again today.
Look at my report for Oct. 29-nothing really different, except I did mark fish and bait in 25-35 fow, but they wouldn't take any lure or plug I ran past them.
One of these days I'll get a fish--I hope.
If the weather co-operates, I may take the boat to Meaford next week.

Hey SDC,
Again a skunk.
I was going to suggest the same, maybe try more west out of Thornbury or Meaford, action seems better there from the reports. I haven't tried the Georgian Bay tribs yet this fall.. So many rivers, so little time..
