Good walleye fishing in the area. Bring worm harnesses and worms and slow troll. Also try minnows, can catch good smallmouths and walleye. Fishing can be tough up there at times, but with patience you should do ok.
For river fishing, try backtrolling against the current in 10 to 15 feet of water, bouncing Lindy rigs or worm harnesses just off bottom. In the lake try the deep eastern basin, where there are rocky points, rock rubble, drop offs, fallen trees, humps, and islands. Also try fishing at night for walleye with rapalas.

How'd you make out Krae?
I just saw your post. My cottage is on Cecebe. Unfortunately I haven't spent a lot of time fishing (more time building), but I hope to change that next summer! There seems to be a lot of bait and the walleye can be a little tricky to bite. Most of the ones I've caught have been right at dusk on suspending husky jerks, fishing mid lake humps. I've not ventured much into Ahmic yet, but it appears to be a bit deeper, with more rocks and drop off as mentioned in the previous post.

We caught a few pike in the river, and a few bass... nothing of any size... Unfortunately I didn't get a lot of time to fish. We were up there getting married so I guess I caught myself a keeper! lol Had never been to that area before. Ahmic Lake is absolutely gorgeous!! and I definitely plan to return to do more fishing!!!!! Brooktrout... we saw Cecebe and that Lake looks beautiful as well!!! What a beautiful lake to have a cottage on! I here there are sauger in that lake, and its on my list of species I have yet to catch!
