Went out to check on scugog today, the lake is skimmed over completely and looked like about 2 inches near shore, did see some kids playing on the ice but i strongly advise you stay off , it won't be long now!!

Wow, looks pretty promising. Hopefully it will just take a couple more weeks before there is safe ice as we hope to get up there again this year. Smashed the crappies on our trip last year and hope to repeat that, maybe even pick up a walleye if we're lucky. Keep us updated

Thanks guys, it's looking good for a couple weeks from now, I'll post more pics if I can. Can't wait to get out there for the slabs and jumbos and hopefully walleye

Hey Dan-O,

Thanks for the update with pics
By the size of the crack maybe you should have stepped on a scale first?

J/k bud. Sorry just had to.
