Had a good day fishing yesterday with some buddies managed to get two nice walleye and a surprise whitefish that was just over 2 lbs. In total there was 5 fish caught 4 walleye and my Whitey. There was about 7.5 inches of solid ice. Was fishing in 55 feet of water. The guys I was with all brought their hockey sticks and skates. We killed time by playing a little bit of hockey. I will try to up load the pictures from my computer when I get a chance. I can't from my cell phone. Hoping to get out again this after noon.

Just got back home from the lake. Ice was still good but melting fast with the light drizzle. Probably lost close to an inch or more of ice. Might not be too good tomorrow with the rain forcasted. I had a sh!ty time today. I had an out of season laker on as I stood up to reach for the fish my cell phone fell out of my chest pocket slid across the ice and went for a swim to the bottom of the lake. Seemed almost like slow motion as it slid. I just had no reaction time to grab it. So It was also an expensive day on the ice. Luckily i backed up my phone on my computer here so I didn't lose my contacts just all my pictures

Hey ThorahGuy...... it's in the low 80's here today and the few outdoor rinks are in full use, especially the one in Santa Monica. Lovely!!!!
I hope you all finally get that big freeze. Reading the posts are quite a lot of fun as you all are truly dedicated to the Popsicle season. Some nice porn so far... Remember, no swimming!!!!!!!!!!!
Meanwhile, waiting for Simcoe to freeze...........
