Ya drove by miners bay two days ago and it was wide open. Im up here on Eagle lake and it is completely frozen over, seems to be about 4" or so near the shore but man when the temps dropped today she was singing. The noise of the ice was crazy up at the cottage all day. If i had been on the ice I would have definitely crapped myself. Too bad I have to drive back home to the GTA tomorrow. Oh well road trip back up to the area in a couple weeks and it will be all good.

Seriously?? I would have thought being further north the lake would have froze earlier. My plan was gull lake january 1st. But now I need to re think the situation.
