Hey Folks
Have a trip scheduled for Jan 16,17, and 18 . What are the ice conditions like?
Don't want to head up and waste my time if not safe, especially after a 3 hr drive. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Hammer

Called the guy who puts out our hut, said he walked out 30 ft and only was 1 inch... Brutal with all the slush on top, won't let it freeze

Hey Guys Just spoke to the outfitter on the lake and as St James said is true. He is telling me that 2-3" of ice over 10' of water and he was too scared to go out any farther to check with 1-2' of snow on top. Hopefully with this cold snap it may help a bit, fingers crossed.

Cheers

Good to go, went out Saturday 6 inch of black ice and 5 inch of frozen slush ice on top, 5 walleye, 1 laker, not a bad day

That's a great day! Hope to get up that way for a trip or two this winter.
I haven't caught anything there but gf got a laker on 12 mile.
