Parr Trout Group: Members Posts: 94 Member No.: 7095 Joined: July 29, 2014	Been catching small lakers near Huntsville . Just wondering how I can get the big ones to come by. Jigging with minnows.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1973 Member No.: 4572 Joined: August 07, 2013	I find fishing the 40-60 feet of water produces bigger lakers.If I fish any deeper the lakers seem smaller but maybe it is the location I fish which is the sudbury area.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1916 Member No.: 6321 Joined: February 23, 2014	I agree on not as deep for the bigger ones. I find they tend to cruise the upper 1/2 of the water. That and they are not very common compared to the smaller ones. I leave a tip up down about 30 ft and fish with a rod a short distance away. I really don't mind catching the smaller ones as that's what I'm after to eat anyways. Good luck. Regards, ff.
