A big thanks to huronia bait! We were there at 5:50 and he came across the street right away and opened up shop. Generous scoops of minnows and well priced gear and lures. Picked up a bad boy and a new 40" rod for trout. He's very courteous and always giving advice and info. Please support shops like this as they need to stay in business. Cabelas and can tire have their place but I don't see them racing to open doors at 6 am or carrying live bait when you need it. By the way, it's not my first visit to his store I just was impressed yet again and it was a great way to start my fishing day!

Regards, ff.

+1, great shop, great service, great prices and always been open when I need them. Was in there last Sunday for minnows, going back to pick up another rod this weekend.

go there when ever i fish my spots off the 400! probably the best guy to deal with, for sure! Also use Jacob's b&t when going up Hwy11. As anglers we have to support out local shops! Lost the best bait shop i ever dealt with a couple years back in Burliegh Falls. Now all they sell is fries, burgers and worms.

Started buying bait there when Betty was running the shop over thirty five years now. Amazing how long they have run this baitshop. She was fantastic every time I went in. Thumbs up for sure.

I go there all the time. Good selection. Deal one on one, no lineups like the box stores. Open anytime you ring the doorbell.

Went in again this morning on my way to rosseau. Great prices on rods. He has Eskimo 2 man flips for $399. That's an amazing price anywhere let alone a mom and pop shop. As always a generous scoop of minnows. I love this place!

Regards, ff.
