Wednesday got skunked.

Today went out in the afternoon with my 5 year old daughter. Went for the easy fish out from one of the inns.

Did the run and gun on five holes until we found movement on the bottom - then set up flip and tried for the perch for next two hours.

Either the perch were very small other not to hungry - would nudge the baits.

After few hits, we finally landed 1 perch at 7".

Unfortunately, this past Monday my new big buddy fell face forward into the water - haven't posted that excursion yet. Stove didn't work today so did end up slightly chilled at end of day . . .

While only 1 fish landed - one of my most enjoyable days yet on the ice!

Tomorrow am if can get out early will try by myself an area based on tip from board member. After noon when warmer, hope that 3 of fish together and this time land a few fish . . .

Glad to hear you are still having fun despite the lousy luck. Hopefully tomorrow is your lucky day

Wow this sure is quite the adventure, thanks for the report and trials and tribulations. Persistence will pay off and you'll put a pattern together. That's part of the fun..
