Well I woke up a bit later today, giving the old bones and muscles a little extra recovery time. After several days in a row of hauling out the old portable the aches and pains have a way of catching up to ya! Lol Thank God I get a break Saturday when I go back to work for a day. Lol
However enough whining, who says there's no whiners on this board? I decided I would tackle lake rosseau again today as the weather looked rather comfortable with light winds and balmy temperatures.
Arrived at the lake shortly before ten, cleared the holes from the previous day and began to fish using my slipfloat method. Two hours gone by with only a small bump, after trying various depths in the 65 fow I was fishing.
Finally at around the noon hour things started to change. Down goes the float and we are off to the races!! First fish of the day a whopping 4 pound laker! At least whopping for this general area. Something sure triggers the bite cause all of a sudden its fish after fish for about a two hour period. Landed ten in total and missed several others. What a day, great fishing, weather and not a single soul around. Wowww lake Rosseau!! Pics to follow

nice report, thanks for sharing. Sounds like you've got the northern lakes dialed in.

Hows the hard-water fishing up there early spring? - March 15-April 15th (pending good ice of course)

Great reports. I'm going to have to try up that way sometime. Looks like you have found a nice honey hole.
