Never been to the area, can you access the lake from Port Carling are there any areas on the lake you should not adventure on with a skidoo?

I access from a friends cottage, but there are spots from port carling to access from. I dont have a sled its a short walk out.

Hey i heading up to lake rosseau this weekend never fishee it before my friend said try windermere but is there any other good spots for lakers
