First ice season at new cottage on three miles lake, anyone fished it before? I got a few small walleye in late summer. Any bigger ones to be had? Does it get ice fished much? Any info would be great thanks everyone and tight lines

I've fished it most of my life and know it well .it's a busy lake and now has some pike in it which sucks . I give it a rub or two in the winter . No monster pickerel in it but 6lbers are in the swim although most are in the 1.5 to 3 lb range .it recently got a fresh stocking .Some decent small mouth and even perch in the fall . Still the odd odd speckle at last ice but a good one when you get one .Too bad this little jewel is so busy in the summer with playing boaters and in the winter with sledders .

Where would be a good spot for parking/access. Will be walking out, would definetly prefer following snowmobile tracks opposed to fresh snow, but will take what i can get. They cant all be winners. Haha. Thanks alot, if necessary feel free to pm me. Dont mean to steal your thread, just didnt want to start a new one for the same lake, thanks again.

You did trapper and thanks again, i did get out saturday and had a rough go trying to get the atv out there....we gave up and walked. Tons of snow and slush on the lake and even though we marked fish we got skunked. I'm not done up there yet and hope to try again soon. Thanks for all your help. I sent you a text to your cell as well. hope we get out together in the future.

I had a feeling it was going to be slush and snow hell out there bud It's going to be like that for awhile too unless we get some rain .
