Favourite Bait for Trout Run

I know this may not be a "kawartha Lakes question" but what kind of bait have people found successful during the spring trout migration to spawn. I have seen many things used here on the Ganaraska in Port Hope and just looking for other people's thoughts. Thanks.

with my spinning outfitt i use anything from worms to crankbaits

Beads and flies. I don't like having to worry about my supply of roe (no room for it in the beer fridge). Soft plastic worms and bugs work for me too.

Good to here that there are other good baits for the run besides roe, all of our roe bags got wrecked

for spring trout I always use Beads, jigs pink and white worms or small power bait minnows
