The Wigwam Fisherman takes you on another Lake of the Woods adventure on the World's Best Hard Water Fishery in this addition of the Wigwam Fishing Report. The Sauger bite is indescribable and out of this world at this particular moment in our history, and just plain old fun! The fish are still cruising in 18 - 23 feet of water from Morris to Lighthouse Gaps. Our buddies with a few other resorts in the area have started to move out just a tad bit deeper in 25 -27 feet and finding some more Walleyes, but not in the concentration that we're finding the Saugers currently. Also the people that are moving out deeper are fighting some bad spots in the ice and you must only proceed with caution when traveling to far off Pine Island. Happy Fishing and be safe...God Bless.
