We are very happy to report that the lakes in our area (30 mins outside of Bancroft) are well frozen over. The lake we are on - Weslemkoon, has 7-8 inches in the bay where our huts are located. We had a group of 6 up last weekend and they did well on perch. Other area lakes (Mayo, Green, Fraser) are also frozen over and we are fishing! For those itching to go sledding we also have about 8 inches of snow - check the OFSC site for trails in the McArthurs Mills area if youd like to come up sledding.

All the best to our friends on Simcoe....hope that you get out fishing soon. If you have cabin fever, give us a call and come on up and book a cottage and get fishing!
