Just wondering if anyone went out on Black Friday and got a good deal on fishing equipment.
I was down in Detroit on a hockey tournament and stopped at Cabelas to take a look around. Managed to get a Quantum EXO pt 7.3:1 (reg 249.99 am$) for 99$ American. Also picked up a few lures on sale but that was my steal.

I picked up a fish hunter sonar...... Thought it would be handy on some of my back country hikes as opposed to bringing in the more bulky flasher. It has a flasher mode and is only the size of a tennis ball.......let's hope it works....I'll keep you informed if I ever get to use it this year
