Howdy,

Anybody recommend an outfitter on Nip that would at least have good access to Walleye? I know the lake has them everywhere but if somebody can point me in the right direction with a reputable operator.…..coming for the GTAA so the east end or even a different lake around North Bay would also suffice. Looking at mid to end Feb. up to 4 persons.

Any operators that peruse the board, please feel free to drop me a PM with your particulars….rates etc and whats included.

As it appears the winter down here will be very short lived, if any at all, I'm planning a nice trip up north….4 days max however and weekdays are a possibility. I will be ready to book very soon.

Cheers and thanks as always.

Rob

Hey Slingshot I have been to south river resort and they went far and above what we expected of them. I highly recommend this place to all my friends. Great huts and great people. Fishing was OK but the weather had everything to do with that. Cold front came in and sustained winds for 2 days 30 to 40 km it was nuts.... Only got to fish outside for a few hours..definitely will be going back again....
Cheers Fishmagnet/Dave

There are many great outfitters on Lake Nipissing, I usually go to Greening Bay for ice fishing. Good people, great accommodations.

Thanks everyone! Nice eye there Dave!

Looks like there may be just the two of us now so I will look around and see who has the smaller type units. Worse comes to worse I will book a hotel and fish with an operator during the day.

Thanks again.

Rob

Fishmagnet.....we have to hookup at Belwood this coming summer!

Cheers

Rob Hyatt and Shawn Degagne of Idle Tyme can certainly help you out. Both are excellent outfitters.

For sure Slingshot maybe even on the ice at Bellwood if they ever get ice this year. It's not looking good though for Southern Ontario but we can keep our fingers crossed.. Lol
Cheers Fishmagnet/Dave..
South river resort has a nice 2 man condo/hut and through the week it's cheaper if that helps..
