Thanks man.. I would say that it was all my work but that would be a lie and I need all the karma a man can get... my buddy was the mastermind behind most of it I just grabbed what he needed and drank beer ha
. They are attached to the skis with epoxy and three 3 1/2" wood screws countersunk from the bottom of the skis. [/QUOTE] Craig,
Is the epoxy OK in cold weather?
thx
Supposed to be Harold, I am certain the screws will do the job on their own though. The epoxy did help keep things in place so I could line everything up and screw to the skis. Sorry just saw your post.

One thing I did to my smitty. After 3 yrs my skis were pretty scratched and not very slick anymore from ashphalt and gravel. I put a new pair on from the thrift store for $10 and she glides very smooth again. Prob best $10 I will spend on ice fishing this year!

If the wood lasts that long I will make a brand new sled after 3-4 yrs but that's a great tip. I am curious if there is some quick spray wax or a wax bar that can be quickly and easily applied to help the glide.
