Stayed night and will keep driving north in search of ice?
Yeah, sounds about right to me. I mean if you keep driving north until you hit the North Pole, I am pretty sure you'd hit some or tons of ice;-)

Larder Lake has good safe ice. I imagine Temagami area has good ice by now too.
Larder lake is not safe to fish. It might be walkable by now now but it just froze over on Monday or Monday night. Also read the regs its been closed since October and wont 're open until February 15th.
I was ice fishing the area on some smaller lakes first week of December.it since melted most of away.
Now that that is out of the way guys are back out ice fishing that area for almost a week now on the smaller lakes .
