had a full day out at bear point. not one fish commited had loads of chasers but none took the bait. Had that smell of skunk all over me. It was my 5th time out last year and not one fish...... hooked up a few times but nothing. It was getting dark and i decided to pack it up for the night. got everything outta the hut but my rod and finder. Sure enough i go grab my rod look at the finder and here comes a chaser.. doesent commit stops at like 30 ft i opend my bail and started dropping here she comes again. this time i hooked up 15 min fight if not more landed a nice 16lber to end the day off. ever since the first and last things that come outta my hut are my rod and finder.

Don't laugh but when things slow down I often say out load "well guess its time to go" often that enough to get thing going again. Guess its like duck hunting not a bird for hours turn your back to pee and a flock drops in.
