I'm new to North Bay this year. I'm from lake Erie area brought up all my ice fishing stuff. just wondering where there would be some spots to access decent fishing on foot once the ice is good. you don't need to give away your honey hole haha just some general guidance would be helpful. thanks

Lots of people fish from shore at Sunset Point, also Chippewa Creek and the sewage plant.
If you travel to Callander, then the entire bay is an easy walk out too.

Hi Layn, I too am relatively new to ice fishing on Lake Nipissing. I came to North Bay 2 years ago for an incredible fishing experience in an ice condo. This year I am thinking of setting up my own "Instashack" Ice shelter and drilling a couple holes. I am thinking callander Bay. Good luck this year, and I sure you will have a great experience ice fishing... wherever you put up your shelter.
