Humminbird 386ci made portable, Made from scrap

Adult Trout Group: Members Posts: 209 Member No.: 10168 Joined: December 02, 2015	Picked up a 386ci i today so my quick project was to make it portable without spending any money. Had some scrap laying around. Let me know what ya think and how I might improve it. I'll post 3 picture of the rig. Took me about 30 minutes.

Trophy Trout Group: Members Posts: 609 Member No.: 10208 Joined: December 20, 2015	It will work. Just a pain putting it all back in. You do know you can buy a cheap unit on kijiji with a bag and swap your 386ci ( killer ice unit) on to it. I think bag and all is around 120.

The one thing I have found over the years is that I like to be able to see my fishfinder screen and rod tip at the same time. Sometimes you don’t feel the hit but you can see them on your rod. Love the homemade build!!
