No we didn't throw any lures as we just had one rod each set up for dropshot. We were thinking the same thing that a pike or two moved in but didn't have anything "extra" to throw out there.
Thanks for the replies. We are loving the move out to eastern Ontario and looking forward to exploring some new places to fish once we have some safe ice.
