Went up to Rosseau to catch a few trout. Drove up in a blizzard and returned in whiteouts. 8" of snow fell between 10 am and 5 pm. WOW. Caught a few trout missed a few trout and had a good time as usual with Sudsy. Here is a pic of a typical trout.
I am thinking that there are many people interested in trout fishing. And Dave and I would like to invite those interested up to Rosseau next Saturday for fishing. All the details will be put forward once we know if there is any interest. Please post your interest in this thread and then I will give out the plan. Very simple really.

Hey Bob nice catch, reminds me of home. Next weekend is my bday and I was planning on fishing either Simcoe or Nip, but trout would be nice. Consider me interested. I am hoping a sled or atv is not required.

Hey Bob, well done.. Nice trout.. I am interested, was planning on going there sooner or later this winter.
haha.. I spun the picture for you, can't spin it here, when you have the pic on your computer, open it up in windows by clicking on it, and your will see curved arrows, left and right to spin the picture. Hope this helps.

The fishing area is about 100 yards from where we park the cars. The area can accomodate as many people as there is fishing Today there was about 50 people out. Lets see how many are interested and we will get the trip planned

Bob, that's a great invitation and I would love to go but I'm leaving Saturday morning to go to Costa Rica hopefully I get some fishing in. If you go up during the week, I wouldn't mind joining you. Cheers!

The location has been disclosed numerous times, it is 100 yards from where you park your car. There are no huts for rent, so bring your gear or fish in the open. The area is a large area where the trout and herring are, and you can keep the herring is so desired. The ling move in sometimes and for pike, keeping shallow will get you into them. We fish 55 to 70 feet of water. The specific details to come, but it will be simple. All Dave and I are doing is giving a spot to fish where we know the success rate is high.
