Ice should be in great shape with the minus overnight temps for the rest of the week ...I was out on the lake today and we lost most of the snowcover but it drained off really well with all the open holes from the open air fisherman over the last couple of days. If we don't get a little snow cover by then cleats will be the order of the day.

The good news is today we caught 20 and lost as many more throughout the day ...pretty well nonstop action all day.

Here are a couple eaters from yesterday ...not me in the Pic but my fishing buddy and of course the blueberry in the background. The bigger trout was just over 5lbs.

Just a idea here folks how about a money pool. A bet of $5.00 each for the LONGEST fish could be catch and release or keep. Your word is good.

If you win you get bragging rights only your winning will be donated to the upcoming MS tournament on Simcoe.

Me and a buddy are in 100% unless something bad happens.

Will drive up on our own and hopefully be on the ice before 8. I get bored easily though so not sure how long we will fish with the group. I always like exploring moving around trying to find that trophy.

I just had to add something. I appreciate the minnow offer Bob, but I will grab some on my way up. Hopefully Epps is open.
